The Hérault Valley is a favourite destination for anyone who enjoys outdoor sports. The region offers a wide variety of both wild areas and protected sites, including- the River Hérault,
- the Séranne Massif, with its highest point, Mont Baudile, at 848 m,
- the Monts de St-Guilhem-le-Désert, on the GR 74 long-distance footpath,
- the Aumelas and Puébachon Causses -limestone plateaus,
- numerous caves,
- areas classified as being of interest for their flora and fauna in La Boissière and Puéchabon,
- national forests,
and many other, more out-of-the-way places, full of charm.

This rich environment is the perfect place for a wide range of activities, including walking, hiking with a pack ass, horseriding, mountain and combined road/mountain biking, climbing and caving, bathing, fishing, kayaking, rafting, orienteering courses, hunting, cycle touring and much more.Whether you choose to swim, walk or cycle will depend on the season, but you're sure to find somewhere to relax and something new to explore.
